Data Center Move FAQsWill I lose my data?You will not lose your data as a result of the move. All data will be backed up prior to the move. In the event of hardware failure, data will be restored from the back-up. Can I work on campus during the move? You may work on campus during the move. However, you will be required to login to your machine locally. Wireless service, network drives and printing, and internet services will be unavailable during the downtime. When will the Stern web site be available? The Stern web site will be available starting at 3:00am Saturday morning. Will the help desk be open during the move? The Stern IT helpdesk will be closed for the holiday break during the move. How can I send email during the move?
